Two suspects involved in Northwest armed robbery caught on video, police looking to ID

WASHINGTON - Two suspects were caught on camera after police say they stole money from a Petworth business at gunpoint Saturday evening.

The suspects were captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in photos.

D.C. police are now trying to find the two people who were involved in the robbery at a Annie's Ace Hardware at the 1200 block of Upshur Street, Northwest, just before 7 p.m.

Detectives say one of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money, which the victims then handed over. The suspects fled on foot with the money they say.
