Suspect accused of taking 'upskirt' video outside Newseum seen on surveillance camera, police say

Police are searching for the person suspected of taking an "upskirt" video of a female while outside one of D.C.'s most popular tourist attractions.

Officers say the incident happened around 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 5 at the Newseum.

Investigators believe a male suspect used his cell phone to record underneath the female's skirt. According to a police report, the person fled once he was confronted by a witness. The victim in the incident appears to have a Paris, France address.

A surveillance camera captured an image of the person police suspect is responsible. The image shows a young man, possibly in his early teens, wearing dark cloths.

Crime Solvers of Washington, D.C. is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person responsible.
