Rescue crews searching for overboard boater in Southern Anne Arundel County
TRACYS LANDING, Md. - Crews are searching for a boater who went overboard in the Chesapeake Bay in Anne Arundel County, Maryland Natural Resources police say.
Officials say fire and rescue crews were searching the waters for a man who fell from an older 40-foot powerboat between Kent Island and Herrington Harbor.
He was blue shorts and a dark shirt, but was not wearing a life jacket, according to police.
A Maryland State Police helicopter was also on the scene to assist with the search.
The search for the victim was suspended Wednesday night and will resume Thursday morning, police say.
