VIDEO: Police looking to identify 2 suspects in armed robbery of CVS store in Northwest DC

- A 25-year-old man has been arrested after police say he and two other suspects robbed a CVS store in Northwest D.C. at gunpoint over the weekend.

Investigators say just before 6 a.m. on Saturday, Emmanuel Robert Cole along with two other people robbed the store located in the 6500 block of Georgia Avenue.

In shocking video captured by store surveillance cameras, the three masked suspects are seen coming at a store clerk and a customer who had been making a purchase. One suspect comes from behind her with his gun pointed at her back.

The three brazen gunmen appear to be demanding items and cash from staff. At one point, it appears two suspects are in the pharmacy area of the store with a staff member.

One suspect is seen wearing a black hoodie, another wearing a black winter coat with a fur collar and the third suspect was seen wearing a ski mask. All three suspects have their faces covered.

One of the victims inside the CVS store during the robbery told FOX 5 that she was at the register and had just paid for headache medicine when the robbery suspects came in. At first, she said she didn't realize it, but one of the gunmen pushed a gun to her neck and ordered her to a different part of the store.

"I was like really praying," the customer said. "I said, 'Lord, this is going to be my last day' because I was thinking I don’t know if I’m going to see my family again."

From another angle in the surveillance video, you can see one of the robbers demanding a worker open a safe in what appears to be the pharmacy area. At one point, the robber smacks the employee in the back of the head.

According to the police report, police recovered cough syrup with codeine from the scene. It appears that was one of the items the robbers were after.

Police got to the scene while the robbery was happening and were able to arrest Cole. However, the other two suspects got away.

D.C. police say Cole has been charged with armed robbery of an establishment.

Anyone with information about the other two suspects are urged to call police at 202-727-9099.
