Police investigate multiple early morning burglaries at businesses in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Police in the District are looking for suspects after three businesses were burglarized in the Northwest.

The burglaries happened around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in the 4800 to the 5100 blocks of MacArthur Boulevard.

Police say in each burglary, the window to the front door was smashed the suspect or suspects entered the stores and stole items from inside. The businesses targeted were a photo store, a pet store and a restaurant. Officers are investigating a possible connection to a fourth burglary at a liquor store on the 5200 block of Wisconsin Avenue.

Investigators say one suspect description is that of a black male wearing a gray hoodie.
