Police: 2 wanted in Northeast DC armed carjacking

A person was carjacked at gunpoint by two suspects early Saturday morning in Northeast D.C., police say.

The carjacking happened at around 4 a.m. at a gas station at the 1500 block of Kenilworth Avenue, according to D.C. Police.

Investigators say the two men approached a man who was sitting in his car, when one of the suspects pointed a gun at him and told him to get out of the car.

According to police, the victim got out of his car, and a second suspect pointed a gun at him and robbed him.

Detectives say the two suspects got into the car and drove away.

Investigators are now looking for the suspects and the stolen car. They say it is a gray 2012 Mercedes Benz sports utility vehicle with a Maryland license plate of 6AP6084.
