Missing 11-year-old Southeast DC girl's mom makes plea for help from public

Adrianne Stone is asking the public to help find her daughter, Arianna, who has been missing from her home in Southeast D.C. since Friday night.

"Whatever you see, just please report it,' Stone said. "Call it in. I just want my baby home. I need my baby home."

Stone said she noticed Arianna was missing after she put her younger children to bed. Police do not believe foul play is involved and it is possible Arianna left her home from her second-story bedroom window.

Arianna's mother said her daughter has not run away before, and although she has recently struggled in school and with emotional issues, she was doing well.

The FBI is helping D.C. police look for Arianna at the request of police and because of her young age. Information released by the FBI said Arianna was 5 feet 8 inches tall, but her mother said she is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 126 pounds.

Stone said has no idea where her daughter might be. Investigators have Arianna's cell phone, which may provide additional leads.

Anyone with information about Arianna Stone is asked to call the FBI at 202-278-2000, tips.fbi.gov, or D.C. police at 202-727-9099.
