Mayor Muriel Bowser extends free rides on DC Circulator indefinitely

Rides will be free indefinitely on the DC Circulator, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced Monday during her State of the District speech at the University of the District of Columbia.

In February, the mayor's administration announced free rides on the Circulator as a part of #FairShotFebruary, which was extended into the month of March, according to the DC Circulator's website.

The DC Circulator system operates six routes across the District and into the Rosslyn area in Arlington, Virginia. It services each stop every 10 minutes, according to the DC Circulator's website, and provides nearly five million trips per year.
