Kitten pop-up shop coming to DC and the cuteness is fur-real

Looking for some purr-fect coffee and furry friends? Crumbs & Whiskers, a cat-rescue cafe, has collaborated with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue to open their first ever pop-up shop.

The 'Kitten Lounge' will be located on 3109 M St NW and will run from March through June. The event's mission is to rescue at least 500 kittens and cats from high kill shelters. It'll be the paw-fect time to adopt a new furry family member or two.

C&W's current Georgetown location has drawn great popularity, and often requires reservations to relax in a room full of rescue cats while sipping on your favorite latte. And much like the cafe, the Kitten Lounge will also require reservations-- the website already has a waitlist for excited cat enthusiasts.

Nearly one million kittens are euthanized annually due to the lack of room in shelters. But thanks to Crumbs & Whiskers, 1,900 kittens have been saved from euthanization. They have also aided 900 adoptions and donated $25,000 to charities.
