Prince George's County Police are investigating after a car was stolen with a baby inside at a gas station in Seat Pleasant Tuesday afternoon.

Police say a one-year-old baby was inside the car when it was stolen from a Valero while its mother was in the store. The car is reportedly a dark gray 2013 Chevy Traverse with Maryland tag: 4CM 8301.

The car theft happened in the 5600 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Highway.

Police say the baby, a little girl, has been found in D.C. She is unharmed.

According to police, the baby was dropped off in its car seat on a sidewalk on Eads St. in Northeast Washington about a half a mile from where the car was stolen. Two women reportedly saw the baby being dropped off alone and called the police while they were in the process of putting out an Amber Alert.

The stolen car and two suspects are still at-large, according to authorities.
