Groundbreaking ceremony at The Wilson and The Elm -- future home of FOX 5

BETHESDA, Md. - Officials from Carr Properties and Clark Construction Group, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, VP / General Manager of FOX 5 WTTG Patrick Paolini and others held the official groundbreaking ceremony at the future site of The Wilson and The Elm - and the future home of FOX 5!

The new building, in the heart of Bethesda, will be home to a 23-story office tower and will contain retail and residential space. It will also be the new home of FOX 5's news headquarters.

Last year it was announced that WTTG-TV and WDCA-TV have entered into an agreement to pursue a lease at the new development.

The project will also be located on the future home of Metro's Bethesda Purple Line station.
