Fifth-grader starts business to help furloughed mom

As Federal workers brace for the pinch during the government shutdown, one local fifth-grader is pitching in.

Bella Berrellez - a student at Jones Lane Elementary School in North Potomac - has started a business while her mom is out on furlough from the FDA.

Bella is delivering her "sweet scrubs" to neighbors, and has expanded her business to Etsy.
