Double shooting in Southwest DC leaves 1 dead, 1 hospitalized

WASHINGTON - Police say one man is dead and another has been hospitalized after they were shot in Southwest, D.C.

The shooting was reported around 4 a.m. in the unit block of Galveston Place.

Officers say the man who was hospitalized is in stable condition. The other man died on the scene.

Investigators say the suspect was described as a black man male wearing dark colored clothing and armed with a handgun.
