10-year-old D.C. boy found safe

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Officials say a 10-year-old Malachi Hooks who had been missing since Friday has been found and is in good health.

Officials thank those who shared Malachi's information to help him be found.

Police said Malachi Hooks had last seen in the 200 block of I Street in Southeast D.C. at around 3:45 p.m. Friday.

Hooks is described as a black male with a light brown complexion. He is 5 feet 3 inches tall and 124 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, a black coat and gray new Balance shoes.
