DC Police officer struck by vehicle in Northeast

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A DC Police officer was struck by a vehicle in Northeast Washington Friday night.

Police say the incident happened in the 1200 block of Mt. Olivet Road, NE, at around 10:34 p.m.

The officer was transported to the hospital conscious and breathing. His injuries appear to be non-life threatening, police say.
