Homicide investigation after body of man found in wooded area in Prince William County

Police are conducting a homicide investigation after the body of a man was found in a wooded area in Prince William County.

Officers say they discovered the body around 6:41 a.m. Monday near Minnieville Road and Alps Drive in the Woodbridge area.

Detectives say the incident is isolated and say there are no public safety concerns at this time. They identified the body as 23-year-old Angelo Kadro Blakeney.

The investigation is continuing.
