4 pedestrians injured in Falls Church crash, Fairfax County police say

Four pedestrians were injured during a crash in a Falls Church parking lot Saturday morning.

Fairfax County police asked people to avoid the area as they investigated the scene in the 2900 block Annandale Road.

According to police, the driver - who has not been identified - pulled into the parking lot and struck an occupied vehicle, then accelerated, hitting two parked cars and the pedestrians.

They say the driver remained on the scene following the crash.

Police initially said five people were injured, then six, before confirming midafternooon that four people were injured.

None of the injuries are life threatening.
