2nd man arrested in burning of Prince George's County pregnant woman

- A second man faces charges in the attempted murder of a pregnant Prince George’s County woman who police said was set on fire by her boyfriend in September.

Officials said 27-year-old Jonathan Miller III of Temple Hills faces multiple charges for the attempted murder of Andrea Grinage-Parks, who was severely burned after being set on fire in her home in Capitol Heights.

Police initially charged Grinage-Parks’ boyfriend, 34-year-old Laquinn Phillips, who was arrested in DC after turning himself in.

Authorities said their investigation revealed Miller helped Phillips burn Grinage-Parks after interviewing the victim.

Miller has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, conspiracy to murder, attempted second-degree murder, first-degree arson, first and second-degree assault charges, reckless endangerment and malicious destruction of property.

Grinage-Parks delivered her baby, a girl, while in the hospital. They both remain in the hospital. A GoFundMe page was established to help Grinage-Parks.
