2 dead in early morning house fire in Mt. Rainier

MT. RAINIER, Md. - Fire investigators say two people are dead in Mt. Rainier, Md. after fire broke out in a home along Eastern Avenue and 34th Street near the Prince George's County and Northeast D.C. line.

The fire was reported around 6 a.m. Thursday morning.

Two person were killed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Expect traffic delays in the area while crews continue their investigation.
