WASHINGTON - The highly-anticipated wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is a little over a month away. While thousands of people around the globe would love a chance to attend, one D.C.-area woman was fortunate enough to receive an invitation for her work with charity TAPS.
Diana Roday Hosford is the Vice President for sports and entertainment with charity TAPS, Tragedy Assistance Program For Survivors. The organization received an invitation for The Diana Award.
With Prince Harry's focus on charities, especially those that help wounded warriors and the military, TAPS helps families who have lost a loved one who served in the Armed Forces.
Hosford and TAPS founder Bonnie Carroll spoke about the organization and their excitement for the upcoming event, the work done at TAPS and the Diana Award.
The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be on May 19 at Windsor Castle in England.
