WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A northern Virginia, all girls robotics team is gearing up to compete in a world competition later this month.
They call themselves the "Fusion Four" and have been friends since elementary school.
The idea for the team came to light after two of them were the only girls on their school’s robotics team. After winning the state championship in Virginia and D.C., the girls are now heading to the world stage in Detroit!
FOX 5 was honored when the members of the "Fusion Four" -- Devon, Emma, Minah and Reira – joined us to talk more about the competition!
