Woman killed after losing control of vehicle in parking lot

MARLOW HEIGHTS, Md. - A woman was killed after she lost control of her car in a parking lot and crashed into a vehicle driving along a nearby roadway.

The accident happened around 8 p.m. Monday in the Marlow Heights area of Prince George's County.

Police say the woman was driving in a parking lot near the 4200 block of Branch Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle and entered the roadway. She struck a vehicle near the intersection of 28th Avenue and St. Barnabas Road.

The woman was killed and three occupants of the second vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
