Multiple people shot in Southeast DC; 15-year-old boy killed
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - D.C. police say multiple people were shot and one was killed on Wheeler Road Southeast Sunday morning.
A 15-year-old boy who was found at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds was later pronounced dead, D.C. police say.
Three female victims were injured. They went to a local hospital on their own. At least one of the female victims was a juvenile.
Police say the shooting was reported around 10:35 a.m.
According to police, a light-colored, older model sedan pulled into the parking lot before the shooting.
A passenger then emerged from the vehicle, opening fire with a rifle.
Investigators say the vehicle was last seen traveling south on Wheeler Road.
