Downed wires, tree fall on vehicle along Bowie road

BOWIE, Md. - Downed wires and a tree fell and struck a vehicle along a Bowie roadway Thursday.

The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. on Route 450. A portion of the road between Race Track Road and Route 3 was closed for several hours during the investigation.

It is unclear if the driver or occupants of the vehicle were injured during the accident.

A cause for the accident has not yet been discovered.
