WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - We'll see warm and muggy weather in the DMV today, punctuated by storms this afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will range in the mid to high 80s, with thunderstorms developing early this afternoon.

Wide and scattered thunderstorms will persist into the evening hours.

The primary threat will come from wind gusts of 50 to 60 miles per hour.

Some hail is possible, with a low chance of tornado threats.
