This morning the precipitation is coming- where it's too warm, it will be rain, where it's cold enough it's a messy mixture and snow. Temperatures this morning North and West are cold enough to support mostly snow, South of DC it's mostly a light messy mix to rain. Greatest snowfall totals north and west of the city where we could see 4 to 6 inches, maybe a little bit more than that in spots by tonight. Do not expect to see any accumulation for DC, and if we do, it will mostly disappear with the rain late this evening. All precip starts to cut off around midnight. Temperatures drop down to freezing and below so expect some slippery spots for Monday morning. Monday looks dry with sunshine, gusty winds from the northwest 15-25 mph, high temperatures only in the upper 30s. The week ahead looks very cold with well below normal temperatures most days having highs only in the mid to upper 30s.
