Rain, warm temps, and melting snow could lead to flooding conditions Wednesday

A combination of rain, temperatures in the 60s, and melting snow could result in flooding conditions for some parts of the area Wednesday.

A Flood Watch will be in place for most of the region until late tonight.

The storm system will likely begin to move through the area starting around 11 a.m. Most of the afternoon will be cloudy and wet with on-and-off again periods of rain. Some parts of the region could experience thunderstorms during this time.

Most of showers should move out of the area and to the east by 7 p.m.

This evening will be cool with clearing skies.

Thursday should be a partly cloudy day with temperatures in the 50s.
