DC area could see snow on first day of spring

The first day of spring will arrive on Sunday - but it might be bringing some snow with it.

An area of low presser off of the coast could bring a wintry mix of snow and rain to areas of the D.C. metro area.

The temperatures should be high enough to keep any snow that does fall from accumulating on road surfaces, however, grassy areas may see some of the white stuff stick.

Areas to the north and west of the District could see mostly snow while areas around D.C. will probably get mostly rain with a mix of snow.

Parts to the south and east of the city will most likely see all rain.

The timetable for the storm is Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Latest runs of the European (12z EURO), American (18z GFS), and North American (18z NAM) from this evening. Still a lot...
