WASHINGTON - Is it winter or spring? Even though the calendar says it is late December, it will feel more like April when you step outside the door.
The National Weather Service reports temperatures reached 71 degrees at the three D.C. area airports Thursday afternoon.
The previous record for Reagan National Airport, set in 1933, was 69 degrees. That record was tied around 10 a.m. Thursday and broken in the 12 p.m. hour.
