HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A promise is a promise and the head coach of the American Athletic Conference champion University of Houston Cougars is not going to break his...even if it means his jaw is getting "iced out."
Cougars head coach Tom Herman promised his players that he would get fitted for a custom bejeweled dental 'grill' if his team won the the AAC championship, which it did in the game against the Temple University Owls at TDECU Stadium.
Only two men in Houston could help Coach Herman with this undertaking, and they are rapper Paul Wall, known for his custom grills throughout his career, and TV Johnny Dang, who is the man responsible for Wall's 'ice' and the grills of many other celebrities. Johnny Dang & Co. has two stores in Houston, one in the Sharpstown district and one inside the Houston Galleria, in addition to his online sales.
Paul Wall says he hopes to compose a song about the victorious Cougars season.
