Washington Redskins resign RB Adrian Peterson to 2-year deal, reports say

The Washington Redskins will re-sign star running back Adrian Peterson to a two-year, $8 million deal, according to multiple reports Wednesday.

Peterson told ESPN's Josina Anderson the following, "I am going back to the Redskins. It will be a 2-year deal. I feel like we made some good moves to get to where we are trying to go."

The Redskins shared a photo of Peterson hugging former New York Giants safety Landon Collins on Twitter. Collins was signed to a six-year, $84 million deal on Monday, reports say.
