BLACKSBURG, Va. - Justin Fuente will become the next football coach at Virginia Tech, a source told FOX 5's Brody Logan.
Logan broke the news Saturday that Fuente will replace longtime Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer, who will retire at the end of the season.

The Hokies' defensive coordinator Bud Foster and associate head coach Shane Beamer will remain on staff.
Fuente, 39, has a 26-23 record in four seasons at the University of Memphis.
The Tigers concluded their regular season with a 63-0 victory over Southern Methodist University.
An official announcement on the hire is expected next week, according to Logan's sources.
