Snow, winds cause Washington Redskins inflatable training facility to collapse
ASHBURN, Va. - The giant, inflatable training facility that the Washington Redskins practice in collapsed Saturday under the weight of heavy snow and the force of strong winds.
The large, bubble-enclosed indoor training area is located at their facility in Ashburn, Virginia - a spot that received around 36 inches of snow during the storm.
"The heavy snow and high winds caused the Redskins Indoor Training Facility to deflate. The Facility will be re-inflated when the snow is removed and conditions improve," the Redskins said in a statement posted to their website.
It is unclear what the damage estimates are.
No one was injured in the incident.
