PHOTOS: Dallas fans sport RG3 Cowboys jerseys on sidelines

DALLAS - Robert Griffin III wasn't active for Sunday's game vs. the Dallas Cowboys, but social media was abuzz over the Redskins quarterback's jersey-- but it's not what you think.

Two mystery fans were spotted on the sidelines before the game wearing RGIII jerseys-- but they were custom Dallas Cowboys jerseys, complete with the #10 and "RGIII" on the back. Griffin himself was seen greeting the fans, and in one of the photos tweeted by @TexRangersFan34, he's seen hugging the woman.

ESPN's Dallas reporter, Todd Archer, tweeted that the man seen in the photos was RGIII's uncle, but the team says otherwise. After the photos began circulating on social media Sunday afternoon with rumors about who they were, the Redskins tweeted that the fans are in no way related to Griffin.
