Zoo tweets new photo of Bei Bei as panda cub reaches 45 day milestone

WASHINGTON - Panda cub Bei Bei is getting up there - he just turned 45 DAYS old! The National Zoo tweeted out a new photo of Bei Bei as the cub marked his 45-day milestone.

Zookeepers say the adorable cub is doing well and is continuing to grow.

His eyes are now partially open and he's developing teeth.

Bei Bei now weighs four and a half pounds.

It will still be a while before the public gets to see Bei Bei in person. His public debut will likely happen early next year.
