Yuck! Utah officials investigating weird green foam bubbling out of sewer

Something strange in the neighborhood?

The Salt Lake City Health Department is investigating a mysterious green foam that was observed bubbling out of a storm drain.

A woman said she could see the foam bubbling and rising from almost a block away in the town of Bluffdale.

The source of the foam is believed to be a nearby canal, connected via river to Utah Lake, which has been recently troubled by toxic algae.
