CLARKSBURG, Md. - UPDATE: Montgomery County police say Kelsey Lewis and her daughter Alana Greene have been located safe and unharmed.
Police in Montgomery County are searching for a young mother and her 2-month-old daughter from Gaithersburg who were reported missing after they didn’t return home following a doctor’s appointment.
Officers say 20-year-old Kelsey Deluan Lewis, and her 2-month-old daughter, Alana Greene, were last seen during a doctor’s visit in Clarksburg on Tuesday.
Family members say she didn’t return home to the 24000 block of Newbury Road following the appointment and they have not been able to contact her since.
Lewis is an African American female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black curly hair. Her daughter, Alana, is an African American female with black curly hair and brown eyes.
Police and family say they are concerned for Lewis’ emotional and physical well-being and the welfare of her daughter.
