WASHINGTON - The free ticket lottery is now open for the White House 2018 Easter Egg Roll.
The event, hosted by First Lady Melania Trump, is being held on the South Lawn of the White House on Monday, April 2.
Tickets are free to the public and can be requested through the online lottery through Feb. 15. The lottery is also free of charge, and winners will be notified by email by March 5.
The first lady is inviting families with children age 13 and under to join her, President Donald Trump, White House staff and their families for the day of festivities. This is the 140th annual Easter Egg Roll event.
Anyone who wishes to enter the White House Easter Egg Roll ticket lottery can find information on the White House website.
There are also openings for adults interested in volunteering for the Easter Egg Roll.
