Disruptions after water main break in northwest DC

WASHINGTON - A water main break caused early-morning disruptions to homes, businesses, and commuters in an area of northwest D.C.

The break happened Sunday night around 9 p.m.to a 12 inch main along Connecticut Avenue. Roads were closed along Connecticut Avenue between Yuma Street and Vann Ness Street for several hours.

Crews reopened the roadway around 6:30 a.m.
