WANTED: FBI seeks robbers in 4 bank heists within 7 days

The FBI is looking for the men responsible for four bank robberies in D.C. and Northern Virginia within the last seven days. The robberies are not believed to be related.

Here is information provided by the FBI:

JULY 6 ROBBERY

At approximately 4:59 p.m., a man robbed the Capital One Bank located at 4700 Lee Highway in Arlington, Virginia. The man entered the bank, approached the teller and verbally demanded money while armed with a pair of scissors as a weapon. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the man ran off.

JULY 3 ROBBERY

At approximately 9:56 a.m., a man robbed the Wells Fargo Bank located at 1545 Alabama Ave in Southeast D.C. The man entered the bank, approached the teller and demanded money both via a note and a verbal demand. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the man left the bank.

JULY 2 ROBBERY

At approximately 12:08 p.m., a man robbed the PNC Bank located inside the Giant Food store at 12445 Hedges Run Road in Woodbridge, Virginia. The man entered the bank, approached the teller and verbally demanded money while displaying a handgun. The subject then exited the bank and ran behind the Giant.

JUNE 30 ROBBERY

At approximately 12:21 p.m., a man robbed the SunTrust Bank located at 1250 U Street in Northwest D.C. The man entered the bank, approached the teller and passed a note that demanded money. He exited the bank and ran off in an unknown direction.
