Will You Eat There? Yechon in Annandale

"Will You Eat There" stopped by Annandale this week and FOX 5's Will Thomas visited a Korean-Japanese restaurant that has a massive northern Virginia customer base.

Yechon is open 24 hours and seven days a week and many customers here will often line up just for a table. Joining Will for this food adventure this week is a big fan of this place -- FOX 5's Annie Yu!

What's on the menu?
There are over 200 items on their extensive menu ranging from Korean to Japanese dishes. They also have noodles, seafood and sushi.

Their most popular item is called the bibimbap. It consists of steamed rice topped with ground beef, assorted vegetables and a fried egg.

Some other items they have:

Galbi jjim - Steamed prime beef rib in a special Yechon sauce

Haemul Jeongol - An assorted seafood platter that includes lobster, shrimp, crab, octopus, fish, vegetables, tofu and noodles

Japchae - Pan fry Korean noodles with vegetables and sliced beef

How much?
Lunch prices range from $8 to $12. Dinner range from $10 to $20. They also have seven great Korean dishes that go for $6.95 every day.

The scene?
The servers dress in traditional Hanbok dresses. The attire dates back to the 18th century. Yechon in Korean means "old town."

Fans of the restaurant love the wide selection of Korean and Japanese food and it is a place for all ages.

The must have
Korean BBQ. When you order your meat, your server will actually cook it for you at your table, and it comes with many side items such as kimchi, Korean mashed potatoes, tofu, lettuce and bean sprouts. You can use lettuce as a base and create a wrap or you can pick and choose what you want.
