VDOT: Potomac Mills sign over I-95 South removed (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON - VDOT says crews are working to reopen all previously closed I-95 lanes. Express Lanes will operate on a regular schedule Monday morning.

All southbound lanes on Interstate 95 were shut down over the weekend after high winds caused the large Potomac Mills sign in Prince William County to tilt, officials said.

Highway lanes were closed at Prince William Parkway, with drivers diverted into the Express Lanes. Tolls were suspended throughout the weekend

Crews were waiting for winds to die down before removing the sign for safety reasons.
