Two people seriously injured in bus accident

GAITHERSBURG, Md. - Two people were taken to the hospital and several others injured Saturday when a bus and truck collided in Gaithersburg.

The accident happened after 1 p.m. at the intersection of Muncaster Mill Road and Laytonia Drive, and resulted in the truck overturning.

Several passengers aboard the bus were evaluated for their injuries and the drivers of both vehicles were transported from the scene with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
