Woman finds card with $100 and instructions to "pay it forward"

CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Monday, November 13, 2017 is World Kindness Day, but the kindness kicked in early, according to Julia Stultz and her husband.

While shopping for clothes for their son in Wal-mart, Julia said she found a card. The front of the envelope read, "With Love, Amen." The back of the envelope said, "If this card has found you, open it. It's yours."

According to Stultz, the card contained a generous gift of $100. It also encouraged the couple to pay it forward.

Stultz said she may never have the chance to say thank you to the person that left it, but she is very thankful.

Other Wal-mart customers were happy to hear about the good deed. Akili Omari was also shocked to hear about it.

"I've always wondered if there was stuff like that in the world and I've always said if I have the chance to pay it forward, I would absolutely do it."
