Kevin Durant is creating new chapters for his career and fans have turned to social media to express their “feelings.”
Many are calling Durant a sell-out for his decision to turn Warrior. For a $54.3 million contract with an opt-out after the first year-- it makes anyone rethink their career moves.
Back in the day there was no “if you can’t beat them join them.” So why not focus on winning a ring back home? That's why fans wasted no time in resurrecting old tweets from Durant to remind him of his actions-- even though they were from 2010.
When LeBron James made his decision in 2010 Durant tweeted " Now everybody wanna play for the heat and the Lakers? Let's go back to being competitive and going at these peoples!"

Six years later, with no tile, his decision seems to be warranted.
According to a statement made by Durant, posted in The Players' Tribune, “The primary mandate I had for myself in making this decision was to have it based on the potential for my growth as a player.”
After all, people constantly switch careers and employers all the time, so it only makes sense?
Nonetheless, the unpopular decision comes with huge ramifications for the rest of the NBA and among all the people of the sport-- the fans.
Some are calling it the new "Game of Thrones." Game of Courts?
Others, consider it a slap in the face.
Not all fans are angry though. Some are all about supporting Durant's move.
Just cause some of y'all stay in relationships without a ring for 9 years doesn't mean KD has to😒 #KevinDurant— Reezy (@abenamarisa) July 5, 2016
