Tree falls on bus, trapping driver

ARNOLD, Md. - A bus driver was trapped inside of his vehicle after a tree fell on top of it Wednesday morning.

The accident happened on southbound Ritchie Highway near the intersection of Chautaugua Road in Arnold.

The bus was driving along the roadway when the tree came down. It took emergency crews about 35 minutes to free the driver. He was transported to Shock Trauma with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two passengers were also inside of the bus and were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
