THE SHOW MUST GO ON: Foo Fighters to rock out at RFK Stadium on July 4th

Despite a broken leg suffered by frontman Dave Grohl a few weeks ago, the Foo Fighters will perform in Washington D.C. as scheduled on Saturday for their 20th anniversary celebration at RFK Stadium.

The highly anticipated concert will also feature Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr., Heart, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, LL Cool J featuring DJ Z-Trip, Trouble Funk, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue and RDGLDGRN. Many of the performers were featured in the Foo Fighters' HBO documentary series "Sonic Highways."

The Fourth of July event will also have fireworks, a barbecue and a motorcycle rally.

Grohl was injured during a fall onstage during a performance in Sweden. He received treatment and ended up finishing up that show. But his injury required surgery and the band had to cancel the rest of their European tour.

But it will be a full go in D.C., according to the Foo Fighters' Twitter account.
