Teacher makes shirts to help Ellicott City, MD

Avery McClelland's heart broke when she saw the damage in Ellicott City, MD from the flooding that occurred on July 30.

The Howard County native and teacher wanted to help, so she designed a shirt that she is selling to help the town. The shirts feature the historic buildings that line Ellicott City's Main Street and the iconic clock that sits in the heart of town. The time on the clock is 7:30, that represents the date of the flood, July 30.

So far, she has sold more than $7,000 dollars worth of shirts. Proceeds will go to the Ellicott City Partnership. They can be purchased at: http://www.ecstrongshirts.com/
