Suicide believed connected to loss of free buffet meals

A man's suicide is being blamed on his loss of free meals at a Las Vegas buffet.

53-year-old John Noble killed himself Sunday just before 5 p.m. at the M Resort on Las Vegas Boulevard.

According to an online report on the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Noble was awarded free meals by the resort but was later banned for alleged harassment of female employees.

Before his suicide, Noble sent a nearly 300 page complaint to the Las Vegas Review-Journal – including photos and a 2-hour DVD.

Noble was not known to have a criminal history.

Authorities say a vehicle belonging to Noble was set on fire at the scene prior to his suicide. Firefighters put out the fire without incident.

No injuries were reported. Some roads were closed while the incident was investigated.
