Singapore Airlines plane catches fire after landing because of an engine warning

A Singapore Airlines plane caught fire after returning to an airport because of an engine warning. The Boeing jetliner was on its way to Milan when the pilot noticed the warning early Monday morning.

After landing at Changi Airport, the plane's right engine caught fire.

Although the flames were intense there were no injuries to the 222 passengers and 19 crew members on board.

The passengers were transferred to another plane which then departed for Milan.
